Lemon and Garlic Asparagus Saute! A Gluten Free Recipe...
Recipe type: Vegetables
  • 1-2 bunches fresh asparagus, cleaned/dried and remove thick ends
  • 3 cloves garlic, pressed
  • zest of ½ - 1 lemon
  • juice of ½ -1 fresh lemon
  • pinch or two or three of dried thyme
  • sea salt and black pepper to taste
  • olive oil for sauteeing
  1. In a large saute pan add olive oil and warm over medium heat.
  2. Place asparagus in the pan and saute until they start to turn that beautiful hue of green. Keep them moving in the pan....be sure not to burn.
  3. Add in lemon zest, dried thyme and pressed fresh garlic and mix around.
  4. Add sea salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Once asparagus are fork tender or to your liking serve to dish and give a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Taste and make seasoning adjustments.
  6. Enjoy!
