Calling all coconut fans! If you love the taste of tropical fruits in a high energy smoothie, then this recipe is for you. This smoothie is a great pick-me-up snack! Often times, I will make this as a quick breakfast combined with a handful of raw nuts/seeds or a couple of hard boiled eggs on the side. Coconut meat and coconut water always seem to fuel me well and are a great way to start the day. I place all smoothie ingredients into my high speed blender and then toss the blended, smooth and creamy, deliciousness into my glass travel cup and I am ready for the day. - 1 small ripe banana, peeled
- 2 large carrots, cut into circles (chilled)
- 1 large navel orange, peeled (chilled)
- 2 cups frozen pineapple
- ¼ cup fresh raw young coconut meat or this coconut
- 18 oz. coconut water (chilled)
- Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender.
- Enjoy!
